Frequently asked questions
Which grades does KenVic Academy cover?
Grade 4 to Grade 9 and Grade 10 under CBC, plus Form 3 and Form 4 under 8-4-4. Every grade has ready revision notes, quizzes and games for the main subjects, and teachers run live classes for each level.
How much does it cost?
Students pay KES 300 per month and teachers pay KES 500 per month. You can pay for 1, 2, 3, 6 or 12 months at a time through M-Pesa. Teachers set their own price for each live class, and many classes are free.
How do live classes work?
Your teacher shares an invite link or class code. Open it, book your seat and tap Join when the class starts. Classes run in the browser or the installed app on any phone or computer, with no extra app to download. Classes are recorded and transcribed for revision.
Can parents follow their child's progress?
Yes. Add a parent phone number or email and parents get a private progress page and weekly reports showing scores, attendance and study time.
Do I need to install anything?
No. KenVic works in any modern browser. You can also install it as an app on your phone from the Install button. It is small and opens like a normal app.
How do teachers get paid?
Students pay class fees from their wallet. When the class ends, the teacher's earnings, after a small platform fee, move to their earnings balance. Teachers can then withdraw to M-Pesa.
